MyInkedSpace launched in 2010 as a community for tattoo lovers and tattoo artists. A social network making it
easy to meet new people who are into tattoos and body art. Members made new friends by flirting, poking,
browsing recent photo uploads from all members, seeing who's online, watching the live feed, chatting in the
chat rooms, and more.
MyInkedSpace Rapid Growth
After the launch of an Android app, MyInkedSpace grew into a very active community. Members could share photos
of their tattoos and artists could show off their work. MyInkedSpace was targeted at those 18 and older and
permitted nudity which helped set it apart from the big social networks at the time.
In 2011, two additional social networks were launched. KrackSocial was a community of an adult nature.
Zocialized was a community for anyone 14 or older and was a clean place free from adult content.
By 2014 MyInkedSpace reached 66k members. In an effort to simplify things and reduce hosting
expenses both Zocialized and KrackSocial were shut down. Members of those sites were asked to join MyInkedSpace
if they didn't already have an account.
Throughout the years following, MyInkedSpace went through several name changes in an attempt to attract new
